Who I am
I am a visual designer, communications strategist, and writer with six years of experience in communications and marketing at nonprofit human rights organizations. For every project, I seek to ensure that design processes are accessible, equitable, and collaborative in alignment with the Design Justice Principles, with an eye into how design can help dismantle the matrix of domination and propagate narratives that drive us towards collective liberation. I place great importance on the power of art and creative expression as we struggle against oppression and injustice.
In my project management and facilitation work, I am guided by the knowledge that change emerges from uplifting consultation and valuing collective wisdom in the advancement of justice and liberation. I deeply engage with queer, feminist, transformative justice, and healing justice frameworks throughout my projects and seek to center the experiences of impacted communities.
I am a graduate of the University of Vermont, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Russian & East European Studies. I have also completed coursework in the Communications Design certificate program at the Massachusetts College of Art & Design.
I am a queer, nonbinary creative and live in Dun Laoghaire, Ireland with my partner Cristine and our two cats.
